Garden Inspired Vineyard Wedding | Nicole + Johnny

9 years together, a COVID reschedule and a complete design change from fall to spring vibes and we finally got to celebrate Nicole and Johnny at their Garden Inspired Vineyard Wedding. And let me be the first to say – even through the craziness, it was all so worth it working with these two!

Vineyard Wedding Ceremony

The grounds of The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge are the most perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. The space on its own is gorgeous and doesn’t take much to turn it into a magical spot to say ‘I do!’.

Garden Inspired Tented Reception

Their tented reception was an absolute dream to design and bring together. No detail was missed in the space with gorgeous florals from Remi and Gold, signage pieces that tied everything together from Peach Paper Design, fun dessert displays from Melody’s Joy and so much more!

Venezuelan Additions

Since the bride was from Venezuela we knew that adding in her culture was important to the day. To do this we incorporated Venezuelan appetizers and desserts that were a hit with all of the guests!

Firework Suprise

To add to their already beautiful day of celebrating these two, Nicole’s parents surprised them with a firework display. I will never get over Nicole’s joy and excitement over it!

Hora Loca Tradition

In addition to the Venezuelan inspired food, we incorporated the Hora Loca Tradition into their reception. Hora Loca is Spanish for “the crazy hour.” It is a tradition that was born in Venezuela and essentially is a party-within-the-party. It takes place at the end of the night and is carried out with noise makers, confetti and colorful party hats and props.

This was such a fun addition to their day and brought everyone together and on the dance floor towards the end of the night. It helped keep the party alive until the bride and groom made their grand exit.
