Leigh Ann and Austin wanted a modern boho wedding, but wanted to add their own touch. They did that by including disco balls as part of the decor to add a modern aspect to the day. The modern boho theme with a touch of disco glam went perfectly with their venue, The Ice Plant Bldg, and it ended up being the most perfect day!
Leigh Ann and Austin wanted to do a first look before the ceremony which was their favorite part of the day. The couple read their private vows to each other and exchanged gifts along with plenty of laughter and tears. Leigh Ann looked stunning in her form fitting gown with a deep-V neckline. She carried a bouquet full of white, pale pink, and peach flowers with various grasses and leaves in neutral colors for the ultimate boho bouquet. Austin kept it classic in a black suit with a black tie.
Leigh Ann and Austin got married at The Ice Plant Bldg which had the perfect aesthetic for their modern boho wedding. They kept the ceremony decor simple and opted for floral arrangements on the floor with disco balls placed throughout. After the ceremony, the couple took some fun photos around the venue including in the butterfly room and in the vintage bathtub.
Leigh Ann and Austin kept the modern boho theme going throughout the reception space. The tables had dried florals and neutral grasses in short vases along with white candles and rust table numbers which gave the room a warm, relaxed feeling. Disco balls were placed in various locations including on the tables, at the welcome table, and on the dessert table. The couple even had mini disco balls on their thank you cards that they sent after the wedding.
Leigh Ann and Austin wanted to make sure their guests had a great time. One way they did that was by having a dessert bar. Leigh Ann and Austin did a traditional cake cutting, but they aren’t huge cake fans, so they decided to also have a dessert bar with mini desserts for guests to enjoy. They also had foam glow sticks for guests to use when dancing. Since they knew guests would probably be hungry towards the end of the night, they wanted to serve a midnight snack, so they had honey butter chicken biscuits from Whataburger!
