Bringing Santa Fe, New Mexico to the Texas Hill Country was such a treat when designing Alison and Justin’s wedding day! Their intimate wedding ceremony and reception are what wedding planner dreams are made of. From the Santa Fe inspired details to the groom wearing his late father’s boots to honor him on this special day, no detail was missed in this Texas winter wedding.
Warm tones, tiled roofs and a gorgeous family ranch are what sparked the design for this Santa Fe inspired wedding day. When I first started chatting with Alison and Justin about how they imagined their wedding day, I knew I was going to have the best time helping them plan and design their wedding, as Sante Fe is one of my favorite places to visit. We took the elements of Justin’s beautiful family ranch and embellished them with simple additions of floral and tile details.
The moment I saw the hilltop where the reception would be held, I knew a sailcloth tent would be the perfect starting point. Underneath the tent, we set up long banquet tables adorned with floral centerpieces from Lovelily Flowers and the prettiest velvet blue napkins. It was the perfect setting for Alison and Justin to gather with their close family and friends after saying ‘I do’!
Alison and Justin wanted to tie in personal details wherever they could in their day. I loved the special touch of the leather valet’s made by hand for their guests from a leather hide!
